About Asphalt Paving Hanford
Asphalt Paving Hanford paves and maintains driveways, farm and ranch roads, shop yards and parking lots in Hanford and across Kings County, with work reaching into nearby Tulare and Fresno County towns. Our services are new asphalt, gravel-to-asphalt conversions, sealcoating, repair and patching, and parking lot striping.
The south Valley asks two things of pavement. It has to take summer heat, with July highs near 98 degrees in Hanford, and it has to drain on ground that is nearly flat. Much of the area sits on old lake-margin and river-fan soils, and on a flat lot, water has nowhere to go unless the pavement is built to send it somewhere. Add tractors, feed trucks and pickups with trailers, and you have the reasons we put the base, the slope and the thickness ahead of everything else.
How a job runs
- You call or send the form, and we set a time to look at the property.
- We measure, check where water sits after rain, probe soft spots and ask what vehicles use the surface.
- You get a written quote with each part priced: removal, grading, base, asphalt thickness, edges and any sealing or striping.
- Work starts after you approve the quote. Changes are written up for your approval first.
- When we finish, you get timing for parking, heavy equipment and the first sealcoat.
Hanford is in the San Joaquin Valley air district, which restricts high-solvent cutback asphalt and limits the volatile content of asphalt emulsions. We use materials that meet those rules and keep dust down with water during grading.
